Rooted in the resourcefulness of her Romanian upbringing, Cicorschi’s practice honors the traditions of craft and community that once defined human resilience. Through her hands, materials once bound for waste find new life. Patterns that echo both natural forms and the experience of a traveling soul. These interlocking wood grains and hues appear to me as a metaphor for coexistence, each strip of wood carrying its own story, yet harmonizing within the whole.-Clare Eva
