OUR MENU
At Arcana, the menu explores the intersection of California seasonality and Iranian flavor. Drawing from the abundance of Bay Area farmers markets, dishes are shaped by fresh, local ingredients and brought to life with vibrant Persian spices and influences. The result is a menu that feels expressive, layered, and rooted in both place and exploration.

Raised in San Francisco, Chef Adriana grew up surrounded by the diverse food culture of the Bay Area, where cooking was always central to everyday life. From her Salvadoran grandmother’s pupusas to her African American grandfather’s barbecue, her early experiences were grounded in bold flavor and cultural richness.
She went on to work in Italian kitchens like Perbacco and Baia, where she developed a strong foundation in Mediterranean technique and seasonal cooking.
At Arcana, her focus has shifted toward exploring Iranian spices and flavor profiles—integrating them into a California-driven menu in a way that feels thoughtful, balanced, and new.
Outside the kitchen, she has a soft spot for bears, puppies, and plants.WHAT’S ON THE MENU?About
Arcana is a multi-faceted, ever evolving hospitality and event space in the heart of the Mission District, San Francisco.
Located at 2512 Mission Street, our main space, aka the Greenhouse includes a natural wine bar, restaurant and plant boutique selling alternative kokedama plants. We throw intimate and vibrant parties, featuring live bands, DJs, markets, comedy shows and more.Private Events

Weekly free and ticketed events champion diverse programming across various art practices and genres. Carefully curated events brings a varied range of performances, DJs, and live bands into the intimate space.
While majority of our events have no cover, we appreciate your support by purchasing beverages and food during your visit.Space
Formerly a neighborhood shoe store, Arcana was remodeled and brought to new life by the Arcana Design team in 2021, Arcana is a light-filled space with 20 foot high ceilings. Featuring its original wood joists of the 1920s structure, and oversized skylights, it is complemented by contemporary sculptural steel and refurbished wood elements from the original shoe store.Team
