ORIGIN: Semi-deserted Southern Mexico, Belize and Guatemala

LIGHT: Need bright light but can tolerate medium to low light even for half of the year.
WATER: Require little watering
SOIL: Fast draining soil
AIR: Dry, warm temperature

CARE: They can go for many years before needing to be repotted.

TRIVIA: Bulbous trunk is used to store water. Not palm tree but actually a succulent from the Agave family. They can be very long-lived, and can easily outlive their owners. This plant is also known as Elephant's Foot.
